Jozef Beauprez designed the first wood chipper under the Jo Beau brand, which was introduced to the market in 1999. Throughout his career, Jozef transitioned from a die builder to an entrepreneur, maintaining a consistent philosophy of creating and distributing products that are both simple and of high quality. He values excellence and adheres to the principle of gradual progress. After completing his training as a die builder and gaining several years of experience, he embarked on his journey as an independent entrepreneur in 1988, focusing on the repair and sale of gardening machinery in Bruges. In 1992, Jozef developed his inaugural universal catcher for mini tractors, marking the start of a series of innovative products, including lawn aerators, leveling systems for single-axle vehicles, and dumpers for caterpillar vehicles. The introduction of the first Jo Beau® wood chipper in 1999, which was designed to be mounted on a Walker ride-on mower, represented another original innovation, as such a model had never been created before. Due to the exceptional performance of the wood chipper, Jozef envisioned an autonomous version and returned to his design process. He engaged in cutting, drilling, and welding in his workshop, ultimately leading to the creation of the first M300, equipped with a 13 hp Honda gasoline engine. The M300 proved to be a success, paving the way for the development of both smaller and larger models, including the M200, M400, and M500..
